The Senior Swiss Screw Machinist role is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating Swiss Screw machines and equipment to fabricate space-age metals, ceramics, and other high-technology materials. This role performs the more complex machining operations, including working with computerized equipment to support R&D and Manufacturing.

This role performs the more complex machining operations, including working with computerized equipment to support R&D and Manufacturing.
Lead and develop the Quality Engineering function. Plan and manage activities concerned with the development, application and maintenance of quality standards for manufacturing processes, materials and products. Manage and plan the activities of the quality engineering group, with the main objective of optimizing product performance and controlling the manufacturing process. Develop and implement strategies to integrate quality assurance into every aspect of our business systems.
Manages, coordinates and evaluates the activities of the plant site Quality System and regulatory compliance programs. Ensure the development, manufacture and distribution of medical products in compliance with corporate policies, U.S. FDA regulations, ISO 9001, ISO 13485:2003, the Canadian Medical Device Regulations (CMDR), the Medical Device Directive, and other applicable regulatory agencies.
Responsible for coordinating production schedules, training, motivation and supervision for all production personnel to ensure production and R&D objectives are met. Also work with materials, engineering, quality and assemblers to insure product quality standards are maintained and manufacturing standards and procedures are followed. Play a lead role in prioritizing manufacturing activities in evaluations of existing or new processes. Work with R&D in development activities.
